It has been 14 days since Eric and I broke ties with our
former lives. I never knew two weeks
could feel so long, in a good way. With
most of our preparations squared away for our trip, we spent the last week
vacationing in Cape Cod. Man, are we
living the life. Biking, kayaking, relaxing at the beach, and watching the sunset (on the bay side of the cape) is not a bad way to slow down and gain some appreciation for what
we are setting out to do in 11 days (and 23 hours, but who’s counting?).
